  1. Title 5

Michael and Ann Mather have been married for 31 years! They are two of the most passionate, generous, and hardworking people I know! Michael's father taught him that you never pay somebody to do something that you can do yourself. Carrying on his father's legacy, Michael built Ann's dream with the help of his son, son-in-law, brother, and even his daughter. Together they have created the most beautiful venue! October Oaks has truly been a Mather family labor of love!

Ann had been dreaming of this perfect property for years! God led her to Webster in 2014, and through faith and perseverence, Michael and Ann closed on the land in October. The Mathers put their blood, sweat, and tears into this project, and after completing the utility shed, barn, bridal cabin, and firepit, October Oaks opened for weddings in December of 2015, just over a year after purchasing the land!

Coming up with the name of the venue was probably the hardest part! When it came down to it, Michael and Ann went with a name that was sentimental to them. Since they married in October of 1984, it has become a family tradition to marry in October! In total, six of the Mather/ Pardoe weddings have happened in this beautiful month! So October now has a special place in their hearts! I cannot wait to see how this venue continues to grow over the next few years. With Ann and Michael's passion for God and for people, I have no doubt October Oaks is going to be a huge success!
